Herend, Hungary's oldest and largest porcelain manufactory, is today one of the most important in Europe. Porcelain tableware, figurines, decorative plates and ornaments are still handmade using the old templates. To ensure its high-class products are perfectly lit in its Budapest store Herend opted for a new lighting concept.

Individual and modern lighting solution thanks to Tridonic technology

Tridonic LED modules and drivers proved to be ideal lighting components for creating the modern and individual lighting concept which was developed by Hungarian luminaire manufacturer Oleant and architect Marcell Benson. The main salon features a composition of four rings of light consisting of Oleant Olala luminaires which give the room a timeless elegance. An oval Oleant Eclipse bathes the showroom in a pleasant light which is ideal for displaying the porcelain.

Both installations include Tridonic LEDs and Tridonic drivers. LED modules for decorative lighting offer excellent homogeneity. Thanks to their one4all interface, the LED drivers in the premium series provide various dimming options that can be tailored precisely to the needs of the customer. The light elegantly yet unobtrusively places the focus on the porcelain.
