Tridonic LED modules set the sustainability standard

Tridonic is the first electronics company in the world to have a lighting component awarded Cradle to Cradle (C2C) Certified® in Bronze. We successfully meet the strict requirements of the C2C Certified® Product Standard in Bronze with most of our portfolio of LLE, QLE, CLE LED modules and are making these LED light sources available to the lighting industry as reliable, recyclable and responsibly manufactured products.
 

Nature as a role model

Cradle to Cradle® (C2C) is the implementation of a circular economy based on the role model of nature which, as is well known, does not produce any waste. Resources are to be used to promote this circularity – from the birth of a product to its re-use at the end of its first intended purpose. This enables us to support luminaire manufacturers in designing their luminaires for sustainability.

C2C certification in Bronze for our LLE, QLE and CLE LED modules is a milestone in our comprehensive Sustainable Tridonic programme with which we are taking a pioneering role in promoting sustainability in the electronics sector.
