Winner of the Zhaga Smart City Sensors Awards
SensorX to measure traffic density and patterns
On 13 April, our SensorX concept won at the Zhaga Smart City Sensors Awards in the category Mobility.
The Zhaga Consortium awards the Tridonic SensorX concept. The fields of application of SensorX are manifold, besides street lighting and illumination of public ways, the sensor can also be used for parking areas and parking lots.
This gives urban planners, the possibility to prevent congestion, to optimise traffic routing or to actively improve parking management with the data collected in real time.
"At Tridonic, we are thrilled and proud to accept the Zhaga Smart City Sensors Award in the mobility category. This recognition is a testament to our commitment to delivering innovative and sustainable lighting solutions that enable smart cities to become more livable, efficient and resilient" says Eduardo Pereira, Product Manager Outdoor Lighting Controls.
