Lighting scenes at the touch of a button
Dornbirn, November 13, 2018 – The DLE G2 PRE Tunable White system is precalibrated at the factory and has an adjustable colour temperature range of 2,700 to 6,500 K, so it covers the entire white range from warm white to cool white. MSensor G3 – Compact sensors that can detect motion and ambient light

Tunable white lighting for budding interior designers
Dornbirn, August 7, 2018 – “Tunable White? – we’ve already got it!” That’s the proud boast of the Lucerne School of Engineering & Architecture. There were several good reasons why the School became an early adopter of the new lighting technology with which the luminous flux and the colour temperature of the light can be changed to suit demand. The Tunable White lighting was installed in the Interior Design Studio. Thanks to appropriate LED light engines and associated control technology from Tridonic, the colour temperature of the LED luminaires can be smoothly adjusted between 3,000 kelvin (warm white) and 6,000 kelvin (cool white). Preprogrammed colour temperature curves can also be selected and run. more

Tridonic files patent infringement lawsuit against sales partner of HTC Smartphones
Dornbirn, August 6, 2018 – Tridonic Jennersdorf GmbH, a subsidiary of Tridonic GmbH & Co KG, Dornbirn and thus part of the Zumtobel Group lighting group, has filed a lawsuit against the company Ingram Micro Distribution GmbH based in Germany. The subject of the legal action brought before Munich District Court I is the sale of smartphones manufactured by HTC of Taiwan. more

Two drivers in one housing

Light for well-being
Dornbirn, March 28, 2018 – The new lighting installation at the university hospital in Poitiers, France supports the treatment of cancer patients in a special room thanks to human centric lighting. A natural environment is being simulated in the room to create a greater feeling of well-being thanks to modern tunable white LED technology and a custom-designed illuminated ceiling. In addition, more than 800 LED luminaires and LED drivers from Tridonic have been installed in the new administrative block at the hospital. more

Dornbirn, March 15, 2018 – Tridonic initiated patent lawsuits against telecommunication retailer S-KON eKontor24 GmbH. Although District Court Munich I affirmed Tridonic’s arguments, parties agreed on a settlement for reasons of legal certainty and prompt settlement of the dispute. more

Dornbirn, Austria, March 14, 2018 – In a smart building project Tridonic is demonstrating the successful practical application of its net4more toolbox for IP-based networking. The company has installed a total of 200 devices at its headquarters in Dornbirn, Austria. net4more provides a network for the connected devices, both wired via Power over Ethernet (PoE) and wireless via THREAD. The devices include occupancy sensors, air quality sensors and illuminance sensors. more

Tailor-made LED lighting system for the headquarters of dSPACE in Paderborn
Dornbirn, March 7, 2018. – The central elliptical atrium of the headquarters of dSPACE in Paderborn can be seen for miles around thanks to the new LED lighting. Luminaire manufacturer Erventec worked closely with Tridonic to develop a new LED lighting system for the atrium, adapted specifically for the ceiling geometry. The system not only meets high demands in terms of design but also consumes only half as much energy as the previous solution. more
